Attitude or Personnel?

It will be interesting to see how Chelsea and manager Jose Mourinho responds to dropping three points to Middlesborough.

They looked great in beating Man City 3-0 on the weekend but yesterday looked quite out of sorts. Shevchenko and Drogba are not a tight unit yet and after losing Robben to injury just prior to the match they could have used the likes of Damien Duff or of course Joe Cole. I think also that they miss Gallas and Cech's pressence in the back and that Wayne Bridge hits too many long balls.

But Jose Mourinho didn't mention personnel issues when he criticised his team's loss. For him it came down to attitude:

"Matches are not just about class and quality - they're about attitude." ( BBC )
