Will Liverpool take advantage of Italian player sale?

In the BBC today we find a comprehensive list of which Italian players will go where after the relegation of Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio.

Everyone is talking about the Juve players but I'm also interested in Fiorentina's Toni.

I would like to see him at Liverpool, if he leaves Italy. This is a tremendous opportunity for a club like Liverpool to address their striking inadequacies. I don't think that the signing of Bellamy is going to cut it. They are a big club and need a big striker. If not Toni, then Trezeguet, would be a nice addition. As for Crouch, he really needs to go. Just as for England, he is killing Liverpool's style...
