Fragile beauty

To follow up on my post, "Argentine Beauty?", I have to say how amazed I am by how fragile teams are and how difficult it is to coach a team to a World Cup championship.

A few untimely decisions by the once great coach Pekerman and Argentina are not only out but out in shocking style. Unable to hide their sadness and anger, they finished up the big tournament with a total loss of face.

We all saw the game ending scurmmish. Here's one players view of it:

"Germany's Frings said they tried to calm the Argentina players down, but added: "It just shows they are bad sports and are badly behaved. I hope their players get suspended."

I still haven't gotten over the England loss. I really thought that they were going to take their game to a new level when Eriksson came in...but it was more of the same...
