Clinical

Another angle to Pessotto's mental state:

The former Italy international took over as general manager in May immediately after the entire Juventus board resigned over the match-fixing scandal.

And The BBC reports that his wife Mrs Reana Pessotto said: "He did not feel capable of being in the role."

Hmm. Not capable?

Then why not simply resign? Too proud?

Or does "not capable" come out of the very low self-esteem, guilt and self-loathing that clinical depression brings with it...
