A great early match-up for those of us on the outside looking in but Chelsea meeting Liverpool in a tough opening round group means that the complaining manager Jose Mourinho is right again: there is something wrong with the seeding system. United and Arsenal should not have been seeded higher than Chelsea and perhaps Liverpool. It's bad for the Champions League. Arguably the two best teams in England last season--and this?--will have to beat each other up in the early going in order to survive. It's no wonder Mourinho wants two great players for every position.
